In class, we quickly touched on your initial reaction to the long list of the most influential technologies in history but our weekly blog gives you a chance to reflect, expand, and think more deeply about this topic. It also gives you a chance to hear from others and debate.
Please give your rationale for choosing your preferred technology. In doing so, you should be very clear about the basis for choosing what determines how important or influential a technology can be. You should also be clear on the time frame. Finally, it is not enough just to be clear and succinct (and not everyone has really succeeded in doing so to date!) but please make a special effort to make a strong and forceful case for your choice. So even more than usual, I expect you to try to be persuasive and focus on justifying your answer rather than offering a more balanced or more nuanced response.
